Prologue from "The black cub of Felis Mal'ak"
Welcome to my blog, please let me introduce you to the prologue of my book, "The black cub of Felis Mal'ak". The first one from an inspiring trilogy where cats are main characters and lead us to the amazing discovery of who we are, as long as to the (so many times) hidden soul of the animals we love. Enjoy!
Prologue
He's a very special animal, even though he doubts himself over and over again. So I tell him each time, he's supposed to, because the ones who do not question themselves, stopped walking the path, and stopped evolving as individuals as well. And he listens carefully but doesn't take my word for it. Sometimes the path can be really hard, even if you're a four-legged walker. Yet he keeps going, his soul knowing what his heart finds hard to deal with: all of us are angels, and all cats coming down to Earth walks on it only as much as it takes to remember that and accept their true nature. When the journey is over, they head back to the place we are now, the Meadow's Cave. Here, every cat analyzes his latest journey on Earth, decides if its previous goals were achieved and decides if he's ready to go back to Earth. The next step is to decide if he wants to choose new experiences or to repeat the past one to improve them.
All of us walked on Earth at least once, some of us more times than we can recall.
Love is our starting point and our final destination. There's nothing to learn, our goal is to embrace the path and remember who we are, to regain the knowledge of what we're made of. To achieve that, we need our paws to feel the Earth and show us what we can become.
I'm Felis Mal'ak, the angel cat and keeper of the Cave. And this is the story of the cat that changed the destiny of his species on planet Earth forever.
